    This type engine is a sixteen cylinder four-stroke engine with 90o V-type configuration. Separate HT(JW) and LT(CAC) coolant circuits with separate coolant pumps and thermostats. The electronic control system is the Advanced Diesel Electronic Control System (ADEC) an advanced electronic fuel injection and control system. Fuel system is the common rail injection system with Double-walled high pressure lines which is the main feature of MTU exclusive technology in large-scale diesel engines application.
