CD200 ignition system with DC power supply, capacitor discharge and digital ignition is used in 1-12 cylinder small gas industrial machine, eliminating the mechanical distributor which needs to be maintained frequently, the whole system has no moving parts, has high-end control, wide application and other characteristics.

The CD200 ignition unit uses a microprocessor and is affordable. The ignition unit receives and processes angular position signals collected by a magnetic sensor, which is triggered by the sensor sensing a drilled hole or bump. This provides the engine with continuous accurate ignition timing, which is directly referenced to the engine crankshaft or camshaft.Through the use of high-energy, capacitive discharge ignition technology, CD200 ignition system can not only provide the maximum performance of the engine, but also prolong the service life of spark plugs 3-5 times compared with induction system, which has been verified by hundreds of natural gas engines all over the world.

Through the window based on the terminal program, the user can use all the characteristics of CD200, including adjustable energy output, automatic ignition timing adjustment curve (based on rotational speed or analog control input such as load sensor), over-speed setting point. The MODBUS remote terminal unit based on the software package can display primary and secondary discharge diagnostics for this system. For field use, the same system diagnostics can be obtained by the local operator through flash LEDs on the CD unit.
