DISN800C/801C is a capacitive discharge, micro-circuit ignition system, used for small and medium sized gas industrial engine, 12-24V DC power supply, no moving parts, with 8, 12, 16 output forms, can provide accurate and stable ignition timing, eliminating the magnetic generator drive gear and connectors, which can extend the life of spark plug.

The chip in the ignition unit of the DISN 800 has a variety of ignition mode programs, so that one ignition unit can be applied to several types of engines. The ignition advance angle is adjusted by adjusting the analog signal input through the external partial pressure gauge or 4-20MA circuit current, which makes the system have a variety of ignition timing control modes, such as progressive ignition timing adjustment (high ambient temperature or delayed ignition by changing fuel type). Adjustments are made by means of a 4-20mA discontinuous signal (e.g. ALTRONIC DSG speed, pressure, temperature, ignition timing and general purpose digital set specifications); or from the engine control computer. If no analog signal is used, the ignition timing can also be adjusted by manual adjustment with 16 switches.

This system can diagnose whether the system power supply, sensor, gap, sensor wiring and matching ignition timing disc are normal or not according to the basic ignition input signal, and if there is any problem, it will be displayed on the panel of the ignition unit.

The DISN 800 system consists of the following components: ignition unit, Hall effect sensor, sensor wiring, output wiring harness, ignition timing disc and ignition coil.
